The reel has a very sensitive disk drag system based on a one-way floating clutch, operated by a fast-locating, centrally-placed drag knob. The low cost cartridge spool system (interchangeable with the GRXi Reel) makes this the ideal reel for the reservoir angler who likes to change lines easily and quickly.
