This subtle variant tied with a black head is perfect for those fish spooked by flashy or coloured beads. The Black Hare's Ear is part of a range of River Patterns that are amongst the finest ever made available on a commercial basis. A favourite with the guides working out of Hart Flyshop on behalf of Nick Hart Fly Fishing. In particular they highly reccommend the Parachute Adams, Jeremys CDC Upwing, Pink Tag Jig, Dirty Pink Shrimp and Oppo Parachute. Their absolute favourite however is the incredible Retirer Sedge which this year beat the Klinkhammer to top place as the best "pulling dry fly" going.
