Hart Flyshop is a sister company to Nick Hart Fly Fishing, one of the most successful fly fishing schools in Europe.
Established in 1995, Nick Hart Fly Fishing has catered for many thousands of first time fly fishers, through intermediate level and on to advanced. We have clients that took up fly fishing as little as four years ago who have now progressed on to such adventures as tropical saltwater fly fishing for Bonefish, our guides and instructors were with them every step of the way!
During this time spent guiding and instructing, our STANIC/ L2 CCA & AAPGAI qualified staff have amassed a huge knowledge regarding many varieties of fly fishing tackle including rods, lines, reels, flies, leaders, fly fishing accessories and important extras such as waterproof clothing, hard wearing luggage or polarised sunglasses. A couple of our staff have even used their gear while representing the England Fly Fishing team at both International and World Level. Many of our clients found us on the internet and having enjoyed our fly fishing tuition / fly fishing courses decided to take up the sport, requiring their first ever purchase of fly fishing tackle. This can be a daunting prospect, even for the most experienced of anglers, mainly due to the enormous choice available and a lot of technical jargon to go with it!
This requirement has resulted in the formation of Hart Flyshop Ltd. We have a 900 square foot show room nestling on the banks of arguably one of the U.K.s prettiest small stillwaters and of course it is stuffed with plenty of hard fighting Rainbow Trout! Just 5 minutes away is the incredible River Exe, teeming with Wild Brown Trout, Grayling and when the rains come, Salmon. This facility allows our anglers on site to test rods and various other items of demonstration tackle in real fishing situations, while many visit for a holiday and diverse fishing on venues including reservoirs, rivers and saltwater.
Despite all the beauty and tranquility we are less than 30 minutes away from J27 of the M5.
